Margaret Ann shares her trick for removing the seeds of a pomegranate.
How To Remove the Seeds of a Pomegranate
- Fill a large bowl about 1/2 full with water
- Cut pomegranate in half
- Place one half in the water and using your fingers break about the pomegranate to release the seeds. The seeds will float to the bottom of the bowl.
- Once you have removed all the seeds, skim the water to remove the little pieces of white pulp and then drain the water from the seeds.
- Store pomegranate seeds in an air tight container in the fridge.
- Enjoy on salads, with yogurt or your favourite cereal.
