Hi Everyone,
Today's featured How-To video is a quick lesson on how to make hummus. Hummus is a Middle Eastern dip made of chickpeas blended with tahini (sesame seed paste), olive oil, lemon, salt and garlic - making this dip a good source of protein, iron, fibre and monounsaturated fat (you know the ones good for your heart).
Hummus is delicious and is great to serve as a dip with vegetables and pita bread. It's also easy to make and a great recipe for the kids to help with or even for them to make on their own (some supervision may be required).
I will show you how easy it is to send to school for lunch or to serve it at your next party. Share with us your favourite way to serve hummus.
Enjoy,
Shannon RD
